E-commerce development

An online shop built around what you sell.

We design and build custom online shops around your products, customers and order process. From finding the right item to payment and delivery, each step should make buying easier and give your team the information it needs to fulfil the order.

Discuss your project

Connect the storefront to the work behind each order.

Selling online involves more than product pages and a payment button. Customers need to understand sizes, options, availability and delivery. Your team needs to know what was ordered, whether it was paid for and what happens next. We plan those steps together.

A ready-made shop can be a good starting point for a straightforward catalogue. Custom e-commerce development becomes useful when product configuration, pricing, customer access or order handling must follow your own rules. We review those needs before choosing between an existing platform, integrations and a custom system.

Scope shaped around your needs

What we can build

01

Product catalogues and buying journeys

Organise products, categories, variants and filters around how customers choose. We can include product configuration, enquiries for complex items or different buying paths where the agreed scope requires them.

02

Cart, checkout and payment integrations

Build a clear route from the cart to order confirmation. Connect a suitable payment provider and define how successful, failed and pending payments affect the order. Available payment methods and provider fees are reviewed during planning.

03

Orders, stock and delivery

Give staff a practical view of orders and their next actions. Stock updates, shipping rules and delivery service connections can be included, with responsibilities and data exchange agreed before development.

04

Customer accounts and connected tools

Let customers review orders or access an agreed account area. Connect the shop to your CRM, accounting or warehouse tools where suitable interfaces exist. Business customer pricing and approval flows can be scoped separately.

An example workflow

From a product choice to a fulfilled order

  1. 01Customer chooses a product
  2. 02Payment updates the order
  3. 03The team prepares delivery

A made-to-order business could let a customer select product options, pay online and pass the confirmed specification to staff. Stock and order status can stay connected. This illustrates a possible workflow; the exact rules belong in your project scope.

From a conversation to a working product

How the project works

  1. 01

    Map products and order rules

We review your catalogue, customers, pricing and fulfilment process. We agree the first version, integrations, content responsibilities and ongoing service costs before selecting the technical setup.

  2. 02

Build the shop and staff tools

We design the buying journey and develop the agreed storefront and management screens. Your team reviews product editing, order handling and the customer experience while the shop takes shape.

  3. 03

    Test the complete purchase flow

We check product choices, checkout, payment status and order handling, including failed payments and unavailable items. Any migration, launch handover and support arrangements are planned with you.

Questions before you start

Do we need a fully custom online shop?

Not always. An existing e-commerce platform may cover a standard catalogue and checkout well. We consider custom development when your product rules, customer journeys or internal processes need more flexibility, and discuss which parts can use existing services.

Will our team be able to manage products and orders?

We include the agreed management tools in the project scope. Together we define who can edit products, update availability and handle orders, and which changes should come from your existing systems.

Can you replace our existing online shop?

Yes. We first review products, customer records, orders and existing page addresses. The migration plan defines which data moves, how it is checked and which redirects are needed. We also agree how the changeover affects active orders.

What costs continue after the shop launches?

Typical recurring items include hosting, payment provider charges and any external services used by the shop. Maintenance and further development depend on the support arrangement. We set out the expected services and responsibilities in the proposal.
