Anaesthetics chosen for you
- Ultracaine: our first choice, suitable for children, older patients and pregnant women.
- Scandonest and Mepivacaine: for patients who cannot have anaesthetics containing epinephrine.
- All agents come from certified manufacturers such as 3M ESPE and Septodont.
Cartridge anaesthesia
We use single-use cartridges with dedicated syringes. Needles are 0.3 mm instead of the usual 0.6 mm, so the injection itself is barely felt. Every cartridge is sealed and sterile, and vasoconstrictors extend the effect for the whole treatment.
Three-stage protocol
- A topical gel or spray numbs the gum.
- After one to two minutes, a small first dose is given.
- Once the effect is confirmed, the remaining dose follows. We check comfort during the whole visit and adjust as needed.
